We have an exciting opportunity to be involved at the heart of the University’s business working in the central Human Resources department as Personal Assistant to the Director of Human Resources. This is an important and responsible post where you will play a key role in helping the Director to conduct their activities in a timely and efficient manner.
This is a part-time position working four days per week – Monday - Thursday.

About the Role
You will deliver a high level of direct support for the Director, proactively dealing with a wide range of matters, sometimes highly confidential and/or urgent, while demonstrating initiative and sound judgement, especially when the Director is unavailable. You will carry responsibility for the effective day-to-day organisation of the Director’s business and will be expected to work closely with other staff with whom the Director interacts on a day-to-day basis.
About You
You will have experience in personal/executive assistant support to senior management including complex diary management, organisation and travel arrangements.
You will have excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to write concisely, proficient in proofreading and excellent attention to detail.
You will also have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate sensitively, tactfully with discretion and confidentiality.
