This is a role for an experienced home-based freelancer to support a senior executive who has a broad and demanding portfolio of business and philanthropic interests. These include Chair of a Global Renewables Platform, NED in Critical National Infrastructure business as well as numerous Philanthropic and Higher Education roles, as well as Strategy Consulting.

I am looking for a highly organised, motivated and trusted Personal Assistant to provide support to me as I manage a complex and diverse portfolio of business and philanthropic interests. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing my schedule, organising meetings, creating presentation materials and providing business and personal administrative support as needed. This position requires excellent communication skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to work independently and efficiently. The ideal candidate will ideally have experience of supporting senior management and be able to anticipate the needs and demands of the role. Character is more important than educational achievement.
This role will appeal to someone who is, either an existing freelancer or who is perhaps returning to the workplace. I am looking for someone who is curious and eager to learn new things, but who also appreciates the flexibility afforded by the freelancer personal assistant role. I am Oxford based and spend one to two days a week in London. While remote in nature I would expect that we would try to connect in person from time to time.
Anticipated time requirement - 1-2 hours per day 3-4 days per week. May vary from time to time
Responsibilities:
- Provide on-demand administrative support to the Director.
- Organise and manage the Director's schedule.
- Maintain and update contact lists and databases.
- Manage and coordinate travel arrangements For business and family
- Prepare reports, memos, letters, and other documents as needed.
- Handle confidential information in a professional manner.
- Provide general office support services such as filing, photocopying, faxing, expenses etc.
Job Type: Freelance
Salary: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
