Location: London / Hybrid Mix
Part Time (18.5 hours to be worked over 2.5 days per week)
£22,777 - £27,343, (Scale 4-5, Points 7-17) – FTE
(£11,389 - £13,672 (Part Time Salary)
(plus pro-rata London Weighting)
+ 11½% non-contributory pension

THE ROLE
We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position of Personal Assistant to the
Chief Executive to work on a part time basis, 18..5 hours per week, based at NEA’s London office, but hybrid working opportunities can be discussed with the successful candidate.
You will provide a full range of secretarial services for the Chief Executive, including maintaining his diary, arranging meetings, organising associated travel and hotel accommodation, operating a diary- forward service, providing updates to colleagues on the CEO’s activities and acting as the CEO’s principal point of contact for external agencies and NEA staff.
The post sits within the Support Services Directorate and is part of an active and caring team of professionals who work hard to provide practical assistance to all staff and stakeholders, necessary for the effective running of the organisation.
What you will need to succeed
You should have demonstrable experience of working in a busy office environment with effective administration skills, with proven experience of supporting staff at a senior level and undertaking complex and diverse administrative tasks.
You will be IT literate with the ability to use a range of Microsoft products including Teams with the ability to communicate clearly with a diverse range of external stakeholders.
You will also have the ability to prioritise work responsibilities, meet deadlines in a pressured environment and be able to maintain confidentiality.
This role can be a mixture of office/home working. Options will be discussed with candidates at interview.
Post holders must be resident within the UK, and be able to provide their Right to Work in the UK.
We are offering:
- £22,777 - £27,343 per annum, Scale 4-5, Points 7-17 FTE (plus £3,300 London Weighting) FTE
Part Time Salary £11,389 - £13,672 (£1650 Pro Rata London Weighting)
- 11½% non-contributory pension
- Full time staff receive 25 days annual leave (FTE) plus additional days in between Christmas New Year
Period when our offices close; plus all public holidays per annum. Holidays are pro-rata’d for part- time colleagues
