This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Consumer Group as a Personal Assistant within two of its exciting teams. You will work within the Customer Experience and Digital Teams reporting to the Director of Customer Experience, and x2 Digital Directors.
The Customer Experience team is part of our Growth & Brand division. We work with teams from across the breadth of Sky, playing a pivotal role in bringing new products to market and transforming our customer experience. DC Labs is Sky’s Centre of Excellence for everything Digital. Our mission is to provide the most immersive, easy, and engaging digital experience in the country. Over the past 3 years we have made great strides with our Digital experiences, but we’re nowhere near done. You’ll join us at our most exciting time as we embark on a big digital transformation journey that will see us rising even further to a premier digital enterprise.
What you’ll do:
  • Proactive diary management – seamlessly organising and maintaining very busy and constantly changing diaries. Booking all meeting rooms, organising frequent video conferencing sessions between offices in all territories, including Comcast and other external companies.
  • Providing professional and effective administrative support –hospitality orders, preparing agendas/materials, meeting and greeting visitors, onboarding new starters and processing expenses
  • Lead travel - arranging occasional domestic and international travel itineraries, flights, rail and taxis.
  • Acting as a delegate to managers for Sky systems including Sky Life, SAP Concur and Spark for all administrative functions required (i.e. approvals and requests)
  • Work collaboratively with other PA’s across Consumer Group. Flexing and adapting where required and supporting each other, whilst also providing admin cover as and when needed for colleague’s holiday.
What you’ll bring:
  • Confident, friendly, approachable manner with a flexible, can-do attitude, collaborating for success.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, able to prioritize, have good time management and an eye for detail.
  • Validated ability to work under pressure, to tight time scales and enjoy understanding issues and problem solving.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy – using methodical approach to ensure all aspects of a task or project are anticipated and dealt with.
  • Ability to show maturity and initiative in often pressurised and confidential situations.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written); able to establish effective relationships internally and externally.
  • Pro-active team member with excellent interpersonal skills and capability to create rapport at all levels. Equally able to work independently.
