Job description
We’re recruiting dedicated, compassionate, caring and flexible Personal Assistant’s to join our small skilled team to provide care to our 14 year old daughter to support her at home, to access school, activities, holidays and much more.
She is a bright, determined and able young person who is living with a medical condition that requires close monitoring but minimal intervention. She is active, funny and lives life to the full.
Experience of working in a similar role is essential to join our team. We provide full person-centred training and supervision (paid) specific to our daughters needs. We are looking for people who have excellent communication skills and can work effectively and fairly within in a team as well being confident working 1:1.
In addition to clinical training you will be able to learn and gain qualifications in British Sign Language as this is our daughter is a Deaf British Sign Language user.
Tasks include but not limited to;
Gastrostomy
Medication Management
Nebuliser, ventilation, Oxygen/Saturation Monitoring
Tracheostomy care
Any offers are subject to full DBS check, receipt of 2 references and checking the legal right to live and work in the UK.
Non smoker.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 36-44 per week
Salary: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
