Joining a tech-led team based in central Guildford, Surrey, we’re a group of companies that include a major distributor of IT Hardware and a leading provider of Voice over IP software.
We’re seeking a committed, attentive and hard working whizz to join our covid-secure office based admin team.
A perfect role for someone with great attention to detail, yet equally happy to spin round their chair and turn their hand to the latest challenge that falls on their desk.
Your trustworthy “can-do, will-do, on-it” character will shine through as you become a central character to our team. Your role will include:
- Working with our CEO, your day will never be boring! He’ll have you running for shopping, grabbing lunch, booking travel, managing his diary; even walking the office dog occasionally. He will rely on you to have his back when time runs and tasks need prioritising.
- Office Management. We are a busy office of 30 staff. You’ll help make sure the day goes smoothly, keeping the fridge stocked, post-it notes on tap and our facilities in good shape.
- Supporting the team. You’ll be the go to for picking up the pieces. Can you crunch this excel sheet for me by tomorrow? Can you source this for me? I’ve a meeting in 10 minutes, can you welcome them and talk about the weather for 5 minutes while I finish this call!
- Finance admin. Most of our systems are automated and we have dedicated accounts staff, but as part of our admin team, we’ll expect you to muck in and keep the most important part of our business up to date.
- Personal Support. Our CEO is a single dad with two children, a property portfolio and big businesses to manage. He’s always on the run! He will expect you to be pro-actively involved from domestic cleaners to builders and choosing paint colours!
