Public Health Wales’ Health Improvement Division is seeking to appoint a Personal Assistant to support two Consultants in Public Health.
The position is 32 hours per week and will be based in our Public Health Wales NHS Trust offices in Capital Quarter 2 which is in the city centre 10 minutes from Queen Street and Central train stations and 15 minutes from Cardiff Bay.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and motivated individual to join our Personal Support Team. This role will provide high level administration and PA support to two Consultants in Public Health. As part of the wider Personal Support Team you will also provide cover for the Health Improvement Leadership Team when needed.
The successful applicant will demonstrate proven experience of working as a Personal Assistant as well as excellent communication, planning and organisational skills.
This post is a very busy and varied role which requires the ability to deal with a wide range of tasks as well as organising and prioritising your workload. The ability to work on your own initiative in order to meet the requirements of both Consultants in Public Health is essential.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
