Job description

We are seeking for a staff for an exciting opportunity which has arisen for a full time Band 4 Personal Assistant/Senior Administrator working directly with the Director of Quality Governance. The staff member would be expected to have the skills and knowledge to provide administrative tasks to assist the Director of Quality Governance to fulfil their daily duties.

The post holder will be directly accountable to the Director of Quality Governance to provide a comprehensive and confidential secretarial/administrative support.

This is a great opportunity for anyone who is looking to develop their skills in becoming a personal assistant and supporting the senior members of the nursing team. The role will allow you to gain a greater knowledge of the Trust and engagement with other services.

The ideal candidate would be someone who is willing to learn, great IT skills especially using outlook, good diary management and has had experience in minute taking. A full description of this role is detailed in the attached job description.

Probationary Period

This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).

Starting with NELFT

NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focussing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes.

High Cost Area Supplement

This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £4,313 to a maximum of £5,436
