Job description
Personal Assistant
We are looking for a versatile, capable, and enthusiastic PA to provide professional and comprehensive support to our Group Financial Control (GFC) Leadership team (2-3 colleagues). You’ll be responsible for diary management, proactively managing calendars for meetings and appointments and the screening of all enquiries, handling requests for information as well as planning and coordinating travel arrangements. There will also be a requirement to provide a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and managing invoices and expenses.

About You:
You’re highly organised, pro-active and can prioritise a busy workload. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and have strong attention to detail. You’ll be supporting GFC Senior Leaders, so naturally you’ll be comfortable building relationships and networks with a wide range of stakeholders, including communicating at senior levels, and managing confidential and sensitive information.
Don’t meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and people of colour are less likely to apply for jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At National Grid, we are committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace for everyone. So, if you’re excited about this role but your experience or qualifications don’t match the job description exactly, we encourage you to apply anyway. You might just be the right person for our growing business in this role or another one.
What You'll Get:

Plus:
- Annual Bonus (based on personal and company performance) and annual salary review.
- A generous contributory pension scheme - we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%
- 28 days holiday (plus the opportunity to buy more each year)
- Life Insurance at 10 x your basic salary.

- Career development, ongoing training and support, career progression and plenty of opportunity to progress!
