Personal Assistant/Carer
- Hours: 16 hours per week (days negotiable)
- Rate of Pay: £12.84/hour

I am an outgoing 19 year old boy who is a fulltime wheelchair user and I live in Monifieth with my family. I am looking for someone fun and energetic to support me to follow my dreams and live my life to the fullest.
I am looking for someone who is interested in some of the same things I enjoy, including watching sports, playing x-box, wandering around the shops, being outdoors or helping me meet friends to go out for something to eat. My greatest love and passion is to play Powerchair Football and it is really important to me that you would be interested in learning about my sport and helping me to go to training and do some personal training at my local gym – I can teach you all about it.
As I am a wheelchair user I would need a reliable, friendly and trustworthy person who can also help me with all aspects of personal care and hygiene (more details by request of job description). Previous experience in a care role would be desirable, but not a requirement.
As driving will be required as part of this role, the successful applicant must have a full driving licence.
You would be required to work approximately 16 hours per week, which can be negotiable on days (except a Thursday which is my club training day). Occasionally there may be an afternoon or a weekend away to attend a tournament or training, which is optional. There is some degree of flexibility with hours per week and an example of a week would be a full day on a Thursday to travel down to England to train (helping my dad with the driving). This is not a requirement every week and other weeks can be home based with the hours split during the week.
