PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO THE DIRECTOR

We are looking for a highly driven individual as a Personal Assistant that will work closely with the Director. The successful candidate will provide both administration and general support to ensure cohesive running of the business. The role requires a confident, organised and bubbly character who has excellent communication skills. Confidentiality and a strong work ethic are essential. The role is temporary for 4 months, Monday-Friday, 30hrs per week, preferred hours 10am-4pm.

Personal Assistant duties and responsibilities

A Personal Assistant is usually the first point of contact for the individual they assist. For a Personal Assistant to excel at the job, they will need to perform the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Handling and responding to all correspondence including phone calls, emails and letters as required by the Director
  • Scheduling appointments and organising diary entries
  • Setting reminders for meetings, appointments and other important tasks
  • Making travel and hotel arrangements
  • Taking notes at meetings, preparing the minutes and subsequently distributing to all participants as required
  • Liaising with other members of staff/departments and external parties such as clients and preparing reports as deemed necessary by the Director for the business
  • Preparing expense reports and maintaining a filing system
  • Preparing a rolling agenda/task lists for the Director both business and including personal errands
  • Serve lunch, tea, coffee for the Director and visitors
  • Assist in Reception duties
  • Ordering stationery

A successful Personal Assistant will have the following prerequisite skills and qualifications:

  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent organisation, people and time management skills
  • Strong command of the English language

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per month
