Job title: Personal Assistant (PA)
Reporting to: The Employer
Location: Malvern, Worcestershire WR14
Job purpose
To assist with a variety of tasks which will assist the employer who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.
About the employer
Elderly lady seeks help with attending appointments, shopping, occasional dog walk with their dog, and social outings for coffee, needed car owner able to take folded wheelchair.
Our client has a number of illnesses including Osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, Fibromyalgia, Raynaud’s syndrome, Sjogren’s syndrome, And some heart conditions.
Main duties
Social duties
- Keep in touch and socialise with family and friends
- Attend medical appointments if required
- Do hobbies such as dog walking
- Attend social events in the local area
Domestic takes for 5 hours per week to be used flexibly throughout the week.
- General domestic cleaning and support around the home
- Light shopping tasks
Additional 5 hours to be used flexibly throughout the week to access the community.
- Support worker would need to be willing to facilitate use of a wheelchair on occasion.
- Support access to local area

- Specific requirements: Must like dogs as my client has a doggy companion. Someone who would enjoy attending groups or visiting local places of interest.
Hours of work: 7 hours per week
Rate of pay: £15.00 per hour
Skills, qualifications, and experience
Essential:
- Driving licence
- Car and appropriate insurance
- Confidentiality
- Good at building relationships
Preferred:
- Likes dogs
- Good communicator
- A good listener
Successful applicants will require DBS checks & Employment References.
This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid 4 weekly.
