There may therefore be times when little notice is given prior to being asked to work. Generally hours would be between the hours of 8am and 7pm. Flexibility is very important. We would consider a smaller number of contracted hours subject to discussion with the right candidate.

The person we're looking for.
I am looking for someone to support me to remain as independent as possible and to have as much input into our daughter’s care as possible. It is very important that the successful applicant does not take over with either of our care with support being our primary focus. Where I am unable to undertake a task myself, even with assistance, I must feel comfortable with letting the successful applicant take full responsibility for the task.
We are looking for someone who has experience with children. Experience with care may be beneficial but is not essential. We would like you to interact with our daughter with a friendly and caring attitude whilst participating in normal children’s activities such as craft activities, trips to the park, reading with her etc. Flexibility is very important both in terms of working with us as a family and working alongside the other personal assistant who already works for us.
Informally put, we are looking for a ‘Mary Poppins’ type addition to our family to support our entire family unit.
We are looking for the successful applicant to commence employment as soon as possible. Normal employment would be based in Godmanchester however, occasionally; work will be based at Hinchingbrooke/ Addenbrookes Hospital if I am admitted in for treatment.
