Job description
We are looking for a highly motivated Personal Assistant to provide professional administrative and secretarial support for the Deputy Director and Associate Directors of HR and, when required, to the Executive Director of HR. Working as one of the HR Support Team, your responsibilities will include servicing key meetings and committees, diary management, compiling and preparing documents and liaising with senior internal and external colleagues in a busy environment. In addition, you will work on specific projects and processes led by the Deputy Director of HR and get opportunities to work with colleagues in HR as we develop the team and embed the University values. We work in a hybrid way so you will have the opportunity to work remotely as well as on our vibrant Headingley campus as required.
You will have experience as a Personal Assistant to senior management and bring outstanding interpersonal, organisational and communication skills. You must be able to work appropriately with confidential and sensitive information. In addition, you should have a high degree of initiative, a keen sense of discretion and be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team. Finally, you will also be committed to working in a highly inclusive environment that celebrates diversity.
