About the Role:
As a Business Analyst for the Video Canvas team, you will be working closely with the Chief Product Officer and the Head of Software Development to enhance the functionality of our existing product and assist in planning for future iterations, including an API version of the product. You will be a key contributor to shaping the future of our product roadmap.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate directly with key stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements, translating these into actionable job stories and software specifications.
- Play a key role in the planning and execution of the product roadmap, including the design, development, and launch of new product features and versions.
- Participate in client meetings and consultations to understand client needs, gather feedback, and translate them into product enhancements.
- Carry out thorough testing of new features and versions of Video Canvas to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the software development team to ensure clarity on product requirements and facilitate smooth development processes.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within a technology company, working on complex web applications.
- Demonstrable experience in requirement gathering, job story writing, and translating complex concepts into actionable tasks.
- Previous experience with testing methodologies and practices.
- Ability to interact professionally with both team members and clients.
- Knowledge of API product development would be advantageous.
- Experience within the financial services sector is a plus, but not a requirement.
