Croydon is one of the busiest retail and business centres in the south of England outside of Central London. It has the largest population of any London Borough and its success as a regional centre very much depends upon the way its day-to-day traffic, highway, parking and road safety issues are managed.
An opportunity has become available within Parking Services, and we are looking for committed and enthusiastic and motivated people to join us.
The role requires the post holder to provide support, administration and advice to all stakeholders regarding a variety of work streams including investigating and responding appropriately to Parking Permit and School Street queries.
The post holder must understand complex legislation as laid down in the Road Traffic Act to support the provision of administrative support within Parking Services including PCN Representation, Adjudication, Debt Registration.
Applicants must be highly organised with the ability to learn quickly, manage and work multiple systems and have a professional phone manner
The successful candidates must have the ability to work on their own initiative as well as work well within a team and working in a highly pressurised environment.
Successful applicants will be required to produce satisfactory daily output in line with departmental Key Performance Indicators.
