Rochdale Sixth Form College (RSFC) opened in 2010 to address the significant underachievement in A Level performance in the borough. Since then it has raised achievement in the area dramatically and is recognised nationally as a centre of excellence. The college is rated Ofsted outstanding and, is consistently ranked as one of the highest performing colleges in the country according to the DfE's performance tables and national achievement rate tables
We are looking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic and passionate Performing Arts Technician who is keen to continuously improve the classroom experience of our students. RSFC has an excellent reputation, and this is a real opportunity for you to make your mark.
The performing Arts area at RSFC has been heavily invested in and includes a state-of-the art theatre, drama studio and recording/rehearsal studios where drama and music classes take place. In addition, public perforamnces, events, enrichment activities and assemblies will be a key fearure of college life and high quality practical and technical assistance is needed in all of these areas.
The post will be paid on the Sixth Form Colleges Support pay spine, Scale Point 5 -9, currently £20,584 - £22,584 FTE. Actual salary for term time only plus 1 week is £18,239 - £20,012 per annum.
(The salary will be raised to the Real Living Wage, currently £21,028 FTE, actual £18,639)
