The Charity:

Ignite Youth is a dynamic charity located in the London Borough of Harrow. Ignite was established in 2001 and works to support young people aged 11-25, who are at risk of involvement with anti-social behaviour, gangs and youth violence, becoming excluded from school or at risk of exploitation. Our aim is to offer programmes which engage young people, build positive relationships and mutual support to empower individuals and to raise expectations for the future to transform lives.

Ignite is based at Holy Trinity Church in Wealdstone and as an organisation it maintains a strong Christian ethos.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Overall management of the reporting system that is used by youth workers to collect data on all our project sessions.
  • Use statistical methods to analyse data and generate reports
  • Provide reports on our work to funder's at the appropriate time, and maintain the reporting schedule
  • Use data to create models that depict trends in our work
  • Monitor and give monthly reports on project outputs, outcomes and KPIs (including participant feedback) for the youth workers and the trustees
  • Collate other local evidence of outcomes and positive impact of Ignite’s work using questionnaires and surveys.
  • Maintain a folder of exciting case studies
  • Oversight of our GDPR compliance, training to be provided
  • Assist in fundraising bids as required with supporting evidence
  • Manage data entry volunteers
  • Train staff and volunteers to use the CRM system
  • Improve the organisations reporting systems to positively impact efficiency and accuracy
  • Research and development for proposed, new and existing projects.

Plus other reasonable duties as required by the Director.

Person Specification

Experience

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in/of:

  • 1+ year minimum, working in a similar role
  • Working with Excel at an intermediate/advanced level
  • Turning project requirements into custom formatted data reports
  • Data base management
  • Monitoring and evaluating projects
  • High quality report writing
  • Working with young people

Ignite understand that candidates may not have experience in every area; however, it is essential that you have experience in at least two.
