Job description

How many people visit the National Trust properties each month? How many hectares of priority habitat have we restored? Are we using less energy than we did last year?

In the role as Performance Analyst, you’ll look across all areas of the business and understanding everything we do, through monitoring and reporting performance against the strategy as part of the Strategy Management Unit. You’ll distil information and bring the performance stories to life in compelling ways. You’ll think creatively about the questions we need to ask to aid decision making and prioritisation at the heart of the organisation.

This role is offered on a 12-month fixed term contract or internal secondment basis

Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon, however there will be an opportunity to explore and agree hybrid working arrangements which strike the right balance for you and the Trust. The role will involve travel to our head office to meet with stakeholders and to carry out work.

What you'll be doing:Reporting directly to the Senior Performance Analyst you’ll provide monthly reports to senior managers, giving them a clear and accurate picture of our organisational performance. This will be underpinned by analysis that reveals a deeper understanding of what’s going well and not so well, helping to inform decision making.

Your knowledge of the Trust’s wide range of activity will be developed through the relationship you have with other central colleagues
