An opportunity has arisen within our Northwest Tax team for a People and Talent Coordinator role. Our team provide compliance and advisory tax services to a range of clients in the Northwest and more widely. The team is looking for someone to support on a diverse range of internal people and talent related matters.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting and supporting the professional team on internal talent and people management matters across a wide range of areas, including but not limited to the following:
  • Support for the NW Tax team in organising team social events/away days throughout the year
  • Support for the team with ongoing and year-end performance management and appraisal processes
  • Monitoring and approving the employee ad-hoc reward system
  • Liaison with our central HR team in respect of various Northwest team people/HR related matters
  • Tracking headcount (including feeding into financials budgets & headcount forecasting as appropriate)
  • Internal support for NW recruitment activity (excluding interviews themselves)
  • Internal support for ECR recruitment activity
  • Ad hoc meeting room bookings including organising external catering / liaising with reception team
  • Ownership and responsibility for drafting the monthly People newsletter
  • Ad-hoc support to the whole team for various talent related projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment as required
  • Support with internal learning & training requirements, facilitating & logistics
  • Managing key points for bi-weekly talent calls. Owning the agenda and tracking actions
  • Support the exam manager with ongoing student support and liaising with external learning team
  • The post holder will be required to carry out any other duties that are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the role as requested by the line manager or Head of Department.

  • Strong team working skills and ability to build internal networks
  • Calm, efficient and resilient under pressure
  • Capable of meeting challenging/demanding and competing deadlines
  • High degree of IT literacy including Microsoft Office programmes, or equivalent
