The role of the Global People Solutions Team is to enable a people experience that is unique to CHANEL as human-centered employer, leveraging people data and an eco-system of digital solutions aligned with the Organization & People strategic ambition.
We are looking for a People Solutions Data and Analytics Intern to join our team in London. You will play a pivotal role in developing how we can leverage tools like Python and PowerBI to build upon our analytical suite of data visualizations (analytic dashboards) and to oversee continuous improvements with our data quality framework across the house.
You will work closely with the People Solutions team, our People Analytics team, plus IT and Data Governance and other key stakeholders to create, develop and maintain the analytics visual eco-system.
This role reports to a senior member of the People Analytics team.
Leveraging your unique experiences, Chanel will enable you to…
- Participate in the maintenance and developing our analytics dashboards with the aim on self-service, automation and standardization
- Using tools like Python to create and explore the potential of data visualizations to tell analytical stories
- Help coordinating the design and deployment of new KPIs and metrics defined by the People Analytics team
- Assist and possibly lead projects and initiatives that incorporate data, analysis, and identification of areas for action
- Work closely with Advanced Analytics team in solving more complex hypothesis identified through reporting & insights Data Governance Management
- Understanding and consistently adhering to the O&P (HR) Data principles
- Identifying and using the most appropriate methods and tools to collect, extract, aggregate, organize, format, and summarize data to support the purpose of different reports
- Get comfortable with the HRIS technology we use within the house

What you can bring to the team…
- Attention to detail and solution-oriented with the ability to prioritize/multi-task on multiple projects
- Experience with web/ software application development using object-oriented programming language: Python
- Knowledge of Data visualization tools like PowerBi or Tableau
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Appetite to learn about luxury fashion and the culture of being part of a house
- Knowledge of HRIS Technologies is a plus
- Experience with web/ software application development using object-oriented programming language: Java, C++, C#, PHP or any other is a plus
- Eligible to work in the UK
- A university undergraduate/graduated studied or studying Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related fields
