Martlets is about people; those we care for through our amazing hospice and home care services and those we work alongside every day. We’re looking for a People Services Business Partner to join our People Services team, to lead, advise and work closely with leaders to help build organisational and people capabilities to help us support even more people facing death, dying and bereavement in Brighton & Hove and the Havens.
It’s an exciting time to join Martlets, as work is underway on a new purpose-built hospice in Hove which will provide outstanding facilities for end-of-life care and services. Ensuring Martlets has the optimum people capability to support this expansion will be essential to our continued success.
You’ll be:
- A skilled, confident people-centred business partner, whose drive and enthusiasm are coupled with sound logic, expertise and an engaging and empowering values-based style. This style enables Martlets to continue its journey of change with positivity and with our people in mind.
- Confident in business partnering with managers, supporting with up to date advice on all people related topics, such as employee engagement, employee relations, managing change, recruitment and selection.
- Equipped with strong demonstrable record of achievement in supporting or leading business change projects.

This is a fixed-term 18 months position, working 37.5 hours per week (hybrid work: working from home and across our sites in Brighton & Hove)
