Job description
This is an exciting and critical role in enabling and supporting the new and evolving NHS Executive to transform clinical services across Wales, in line with national priorities and standards.
Our People and OD function within Public Health Wales exists to ensure our 2,300 staff are enabled to deliver our vision ofworking to achieve a healthier future for Wales which starts with a healthy, happy and fair organisation. For the last three years the entire organisation has been focused on providing system leadership for, responding to and advising on the COVID-19 pandemic and its aftermath.
In June 2022, the Welsh Government announced the establishment of a new NHS Executive, bringing together existing expertise and capacity from national bodies in the NHS, which will operate under a direct mandate from Welsh Government and be hosted by Public Health Wales.
We are currently refreshing our long term strategy and now is an exciting time to join Public Health Wales and our People and OD team as we play our part in redefining the organisational context for the future needs of our core and hosted services.
We are therefore seeking a strategic People and OD Partner to work closely with senior leaders and their teams in assisting in the establishment and embedding of the new NHS Executive which will hosted by Public Health Wales.
