In a $31tn FMCG market, with over 1 million manufacturers, 20m distributors and wholesalers and over 500m independent retailers, less than 3% of the B2B trading is currently done online. Our mission is to grow global online commerce for the world's small businesses by removing the barriers to online trading.

Currently, due to antiquated and high-cost payment networks, over $19tn of trade payments are made offline, adding complexity and inconvenience to online trading. This has resulted in local retailers, who directly influence >80% of local consumer buying behaviour, often being the least technically equipped with data, pricing, or the latest inventory.

We built an Open Commerce Platform that enables the sale and distribution of FMCG products to be made much simpler. Products should be in front of sellers fast, in real-time, through an immersive commerce experience, with trade buyers and sellers able to see live commerce opportunities and pricing. We have built a digital ecosystem that is specifically designed to unlock the full value of the distribution network, providing real-time visibility for order and inventory management. Our innovative platform provides brands and distributors with deep data insights into buyer trends and behaviours and helps identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products.

The Role: People Operations Executive

Location - London (1 day a week in office), Outside of London (1 day a month in office)

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact and be a driving force in shaping our RedCloud Team members' success? We are currently seeking an exceptional People Operations Executive who genuinely cares about our employees and their experience to join our team.

Your primary responsibilities will include facilitating an exceptional onboarding experience in line with our company's growth, designing and implementing new company policies, and maintaining the integrity of our internal HR systems.

As a friendly and approachable member of the People Operations team, you will be responsible for addressing day-to-day employee inquiries.

To thrive in this position, you should possess a genuine passion for fostering positive employee experiences and cultivating a strong culture. Your meticulous attention to detail, experience in working with metrics, and previous work experience in a fast-paced startup environment will be instrumental to your success.

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of internal HR systems and databases
• Develop and implement company policies that align with our objectives
• Oversee benefits management
• Serve as a consultant to managers and team members regarding People policies and procedures
• Take ownership of the employee onboarding process, crafting innovative programs and enhancing existing ones to create a welcoming environment for new joiners and set them up for success
• Address employee queries related to onboarding, payroll, HRIS, and other relevant areas
• Handle day-to-day administrative tasks associated with the employee lifecycle

What we're looking for in a candidate:

• A dynamic individual with an understanding and appreciation of local and international HR policies, laws, and cultural norms, ready to navigate any challenge that comes their way.
• With at least 3 years of hands-on experience in People Operations, you bring a depth of knowledge and adaptability gained from working in the fast-paced environment of a startup.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills will enable you to effectively convey your ideas and build strong relationships with colleagues from different teams.
• Tech-savvy and proficient in using modern HR/People tools like BambooHR/Hibob, Confluence, MS Teams, Slack, Jira, and LMS to streamline operations and facilitate seamless collaboration.
• A true team player with the ability to forge strong cross-functional relationships, working collaboratively to achieve shared goals.
• Your exceptional multitasking abilities will allow you to handle multiple priorities seamlessly while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality results.
• Genuine passion for crafting engaging content will shine through as you create presentations, guides, and other materials that resonate with our employees.
• Basic math skills that enable you to effortlessly handle calculations related to holidays, FTE, and other HR metrics
