We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of People Experience Manager
The People Experience Manager role is part of the Chief Administration Office (CAO) team within Channel Islands and Isle of Man (CIIOM), Chief Operating Office, (COO) based at HSBC House, Jersey.
The role works alongside the business leaders and with wider stakeholders on all aspects of the people journey, with a view to improving, Health and Wellbeing, Development and Engagement, Reward and Recognition and creating a Diverse and Inclusive environment for our people to work within.
The CAO team balances a demanding and fast paced agenda; workload and desired outcomes will change according to business need. The successful candidate will own delivery for specific tasks within the People Plan as well as supporting the wider team. The role will broaden an individual’s knowledge of how HSBC works, introduce them to strategic delivery at pace and give them experience and exposure to high impact projects.
In this role, you will:
- Project-management of numerous initiatives and events required to enable CIIOM People Plan
- Balance priorities to ensure delivery of tasks and managing relationships with external and internal stakeholders across the business
- Creation of communications to be sent across CIIOM.
- Manage relationships with 3rd party vendors and ensure invoices are paid in a timely and efficient manner.
- Deliver accurate reporting to various WPB, Country, Regional and Group governance forums on behalf of our People Strategy
- Have an understanding across all key areas of the CAO team’s responsibilities in order to provide support or cover when required.
- Communicate with impact and collaborate proactively with employees at all levels and incorporate feedback.
- Develop and recommend changes and improvements to ways of working and culture based on subject matter expertise and understanding of HSBC and market best practice.
