The Assessment Operations Officer is responsible for assessment activities in the Assessment Operations team within the Education Office. The post holder will be responsible for operational activities aligned to the assessment calendar by contributing to the successful delivery of the examination sessions across multiple programmes and languages.

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience

Job Purpose:
The Assessment Operations Officer is responsible for assessment activities in the Assessment Operations team within the Education Office. The post holder will be responsible for operational activities aligned to the assessment calendar by contributing to the successful delivery of the examination sessions across multiple programmes and languages.
- Contribute to post results issue activities such as transcript processing, legalization, certification or enquiries upon results.
- Configuration of examination session data to operational, regulatory and contractual deadlines.
- Monitoring progress of session activities to ensure on time delivery of results.
- Collate and analyse assessment related data.
- Respond to queries and provide operational and technical support to schools and examiners.
- Produce and edit a variety of assessment related material to provide feedback and guidance to schools and examiners.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of business as usual processes and post examination session analysis.
Job Requirements:
- A first degree or equivalent and/or relevant work experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Vitality to implement change, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work in smarter more focussed ways.
- Demonstrable ability to communicate well across all levels of an organization, with the ability to build and foster production working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Evidence of communicating effectively with stakeholders on complex, technical and sensitive matters.
- Delivery of quality outcomes within defined deadlines.
