About the role:
Reporting to the Recruitment Manager, the Onboarding Administrator is responsible for the onboarding lifecycle of Porthaven Care Homes new recruits. You will be supporting the recruitment function of the business working in a small friendly team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ensuring all relevant recruitment documentation is in place for new starters and that hiring managers and candidates are kept informed on progress throughout their application.

About you:
You will be an experienced administrator with great accuracy and attention to detail. As important as your organisation skills are, it is your natural ability to deal professionally with a variety of priorities that will gain you success in this role.
Your communication skills are exceptional and you will be able to engage with a wide range of people.
You must be able to work on your own initiative and be involved in reviewing, monitoring, and developing processes and procedures.
Excellent IT skills are essential, and you will be familiar with a HR or other system. You must be able to report accurately all key onboarding information in a timely manner adhering to guidelines that ensure a good quality process.
Day to Day Duties:
- You will be the first point of contact on the candidate’s journey when being onboarded with Porthaven Care Home.
- You will be generating the job offer documentation and supporting with pre-employment checks such as referencing.
- Maintaining accurate and professional communication records on our ATS system.
- Communicating with candidates vie telephone, email and text to ensure they are up to date with their application stage.
- Leasing with Hiring managers to ensure they are aware of updates regarding their new recruits.
- Escalating any concerns regarding safer recruitment practise to your line manager and hiring manager.
- Overseeing the onboarding inbox, dealing with any enquiries.
- Working closely with our recruitment team to ensure all information and documentation is accurate and compliant.
- Working as part of a team to ensure all processes are followed in line with Regulations, Company policy and procedure.
- Keeping spreadsheets and databases up to date, analysing and interpreting data when requested.
