What you’ll do
Vodafone UK is pushing the boundaries of what and how a Telecommunications company in the UK operates and delivers for its customers. As part of this effort, HR are in the middle of a data revolution and are growing the People Analytics Function to drive the HR agenda and help Vodafone become a fully data-driven company.
This is an exciting role that sits between HR & Analytics and business, with a growing potential that gives the opportunity to have a direct and recognisable impact on Vodafone’s business performance and strategy.
The role holder is responsible for identifying and delivering analytical solutions to solve business problems and drive business outcomes. Key accountabilities include:
Drive the re-engineering of our People Data platform (SQL Database) and ETL processes- Lead data integration projects to bring together HR, Finance and business data and ensure its quality and end-to-end consistency of the data pipeline
- Deliver analytics projects that have a measurable impact on Vodafone and its business KPIs with limited guidance from senior members of the team
- Dive deep into our people and business data: build dashboards, extract insights, develop complex algorithms, use data visualisation and storytelling to engage business audiences
- Work collaboratively with the rest of HR to identify and support use cases, create recommendations based on analysis of data
- Show technical excellence and ability to solve complex technical problems in an innovative way
Who you are
Strong ability and demonstrable experience using SQL or Python- Strong ability and demonstrable experience using visualisaiton software (e.g Tableau, Power BI, Qlik)
- Experience with statistical modelling/machine learning techniques is desirable
- A great communicator, who can explain complex concepts to non-specialist audiences
- Experience working in an agile environment is desirable
