The role
The People Data Analyst is a varied and diverse role with a wide remit covering everything from data management and integrity to reporting and analytics and supporting the wider People team on other projects.
An eye for detail, a passion for data and metrics and excellent communication skills are a must. This is a new role at boohoo so this is a great opportunity for someone to come in and put their own stamp on what HR Analytics at boohoo looks like!
As part of this team you will deliver accurate and insightful information to the business, providing the People Team and our Leaders with the people data they need to deliver the People vision and make informed decisions.
What you'll be doing
- Produce monthly and quarterly People metrics; working closely with the people team to develop data into meaningful stories to provide further detail and insight
- Deliver and enhance our People centric reporting capability including: creating new reports, maintaining data and establishing and resolving any errors
- Maintain the data on all our HR Information Systems to ensure confidentiality, data integrity and consistency
- Work closely with the People Team to perform data audits and cleansing
- Develop reports in our Core HR system to analyse data, perform trend analysis and identify data discrepancies. Producing model data sets in creative ways to answer business questions.
- Partner with the wider People team to identify areas for improvement for data quality, process efficiencies and effectiveness to ensure the highest data integrity
- Integrate data from multiple internal systems to support reporting and analytics on all areas of People. Work collaboratively with other boohoo Data teams to optimise the people data available
- Proactively hunt out opportunities to improve Colleague reporting eg D&I
- Prepare and submit data for all relevant benchmarking surveys
- To play an active role in any future HRIS technology development
- Respond to requests for updated salary benchmarking from the wider People Team

More about you
You will be brilliant in Microsoft Excel with excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- You will ideally have a STEM degree, knowledge of Power BI and experience from a previous role
- You will be self-motivated with excellent problem-solving skills and a proven record of setting delivery commitments and meeting expectations
- You have had exposure to HR Reporting analytics, data management principles and GDPR and enjoy working with and analysing People data
- You have experience in project work, showing initiative and proactivity
- You have heaps of enthusiasm and patience
