From distinguished art exhibitions to fine dining, live music, and an exceptional programme of events for members, the club remains at the heart of contemporary cultural life in London.
We have an exciting opportunity for a People & Culture Manager (HR and Training Manager) to join the team and play a key role providing support across the club while managing the day to day running of our vibrant People department focusing on the entire employee experience from on boarding, induction, engagement, recruitment & retention, training & development, and well-being.
About the role
- Support all recruitment and selection activities
- Drive our training and development culture for all employees
- Work closely with management team to embed our culture
- Implement creative engagement and well-being activities
- Assist building positive relationships with schools, colleges, and universities
- Support managing our HR/Payroll/Internal comms systems
- Being responsive and proactive communicating effectively
- Collaborate and be able to work effectively as a part of a team or independently
About you
We are looking for a motivated People & Culture Manager who we anticipate will have at least 3 years’ experience in a senior HR role within hospitality preferably in a similar environment. You will be a fast learner, adaptable and passionate about creating a fun and inclusive environment. Private members club experience is a plus!
In addition, to be successful in this role you will need:
- Sound HR generalist knowledge
- Previous training experience
- Ability to work under pressure, remain calm
- Tenacious team player who is an avid learner
- Comfortable handling all levels of people matters
- Confident, professional, and welcoming personality
