People & Culture Manager

We are currently recruiting for a People Operations Manager to work with us looking after our Universities. We currently have universities in London, Oxford, Lancashire, and Buckinghamshire. This will be a Monday to Friday, hybrid role however regular site visits will be required.
We are looking for someone who can provide operational HR support to the Universities portfolio to ensure people management activities are completed in an efficient, fair, and professional manner, always in line with our vision and values, and enabling the business to meet its goals and objectives. We need someone who can collaborate with our People Business Partner to support the implementation of people and organisational solutions to meet the needs of the business areas they support.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Champion the Gather & Gather University culture and ensure all employees are aware of our ideals and associated desired behaviours, acting as a role model for our Vision and Ideals
- Be bold in your approach, bringing innovative ideas and solutions to improving the people management and development processes and initiatives, to support business growth.
- Take an active role in the Gather & Gather Universities management team, to act as the Gather & Gather Universities people ambassador, in ensuring our people focus and culture remain central to everything we do across the university business.
- Support significant change initiatives in both a strategic and operational capacity, e.g. culture change programmes, restructuring, TUPE transfers, performance management, learning and development initiatives, engagement action planning and projects.
- To undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required.
- Through active involvement in external activities, contribute to the wider personal recognition and promotion of CH&CO in industry.
