Job description
The opportunity
We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic ‘doer’. This isn’t your average 9 to 5 role, and while we are looking for someone who can thrive while being challenged in a fast-paced environment, we can in return offer a company populated with passionate, knowledgeable people, an environment where each person can have a genuine impact on the culture of the company, and a benefits package that sits above others in the Fintech space.
What you’ll be doing
- People Coordination - Making sure we are creating a company that people love to work for means that we must support our people. This a great opportunity for you to apply your own take on how we can shape the culture of our company. Working on the well-being activities, enhancing our benefits offering, and ensuring that we can on, and off-board our people in a seamless, positive manner will help to ensure we are building a leading brand as an employer of choice.
- Space Management. (No, we're not off to space), we’re looking for someone to own our spaces and help create the best possible working environments for our people. As well as our physical spaces there will be a responsibility to ensure our people are just as effective and happy working from home as they are in the office. We have two offices, one in London, and one in Haywards Heath, we will expect regular weekly presents and ownership of the service management and facilities of our spaces.
What we’re looking for in you
- An attitude of ‘no job is too small’, you be procuring a new benefit, sending rewards to our people, or setting up conferencing equipment – you find a way to get the job done.
- You're active in the people space, by attending webinars or immersing yourself in research on the latest people and cultural developments.
- First-rate organisational skills, with the ability to self-improve processes; and able to flex and pivot in a rapidly moving culture.
- Evidence of making a difference – we want someone who can bring themself to this role and help us shape our future.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written – comfortable speaking to all levels within the organisation, as well as external vendors
- Previous administrative experience within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong sense of cultural awareness
- Highly responsive, flexible, proactive, resilient and solutions-driven
- You’re technical! We’re looking for someone to provide support in a fintech business.
