As our business continues to grow, so does our HR team and now an exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR Advisor to join our HR Shared Services function.
Working completely remotely (from home) the successful HR Advisor will play a pivotal role in the delivery of employee relations guidance and HR policy development and implementation, across our business of c.5000 employees in the UK&I.
Our HR Advisors are passionate about delivering professional, proactive, credible and confidential information and guidance to both employees and business stakeholders, in line with company policy and UK&I employment legislation, safeguarding our employees and risk to the business.

This role is home working and we are therefore open to candidates based across the UK.

What will the role involve?
- You will support the business in all employee relations matters in line with HR policies and procedures
- You will be responsible for managing your own caseload, from start to completion with a wide variance of complexity
- You will be supporting and guiding business stakeholders, with HR best practices and legislative advice relating to cases raised
- Virtually attending and representing the HR function on confidential business meetings e.g. disciplinary, grievance and general employee relations issues
- You will be a subject matter expert and develop direct stakeholders via best practice and regular feedback
- Effective communication with wider HR colleagues to ensure the best solution for all people matters
What will the role involve?
- You will have gained your experience by previously working within a HR Advisory / HR Administration role
- You will have experience advising in all areas such as employee relations, disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence, restructures etc.
- You have the ability to quickly build effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels, developing a trusted HR Advisory service
- You are able to effectively plan and prioritise your caseload, ensuring an efficient HR service to the business
- You will be confident in the delivery of confidential and sensitive information, including disciplinary outcomes and other HR related matters
- You are happy to challenge, ensuring that stakeholders are guided correctly and in line with UK&I employment law and company HR policies and procedures
- You will have previously managed HR caseloads through each step, from start to finish
- You will have experience of liaising with trade unions and taking part in tribunals (desired, not essential)
