Main Purpose
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join a premier team of HR Professionals
at the 423 Force Support Squadron, Royal Air Force Alconbury, United Kingdom.
Working within the 423rd Force Support Squadron, in the Military Personnel Office, you will assist a wide
variety of personnel of all ranks, performing a wide variety of both procedural and substantive clerical work
supporting one or more military personnel programs, operations, or functions.
You will perform all necessary actions and reports for a variety of Air Force required administrative programs.
You will also act as liaison between the organization and various other offices, as well as providing general
administrative support to squadron or group Commander and staff members of the assigned units. This position
will also serve as the principal office manager performing various clerical and administrative support to the
organization, performing office automation duties, such as word processing in support of the clerical and
administrative support.

Knowledge and Experience Required
Applicants must demonstrate the following:
Knowledge of standardized body of military personnel regulations and procedures desired.
Must have experience with a variety of office software and equipment to support office operations and produce a variety of documents, reports, spreadsheets and presentations.
Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, and maintain effective work relationships.

- Hours of work: Start & end times may be modified due to mission needs and in accordance with organization’s flexible working policies.
- Will be required to handle and safeguard sensitive information in accordance with applicable US and UK laws, rules, and regulations.
- Must obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance.
- May be assigned other duties that are appropriate to the grade and skill set of the employee.
- May be required to travel by military and/or civilian aircraft in the performance of official duties or attend necessary training. Position may be coded as mission essential.
- A 6-month probationary period will be required.
- Overtime may be required.
- May be required to travel overnight to US or other countries in the performance of official duties or attend necessary train.
