- Providing professional customer focused people advice and support to all RFLPS business areas to ensure that all people processes and initiatives are delivered with proficiency and accuracy.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
- Promote the vision and values of the organisations by being a role model and ambassador for the organisations, both internally and externally.
- Represent RFLPS People function consistently and with professionalism.
- Act as a change agent by supporting and contributing to RFLPS change programmes.
- Ensure the successful provision of People and Resourcing specialist services from candidate journey through to full employee lifecycle activities.
- Support Head of People with the delivery of RFLPS strategic people plan.
- End to end management of Trac system for all recruitment activities when required.
- Actively involved in direct advertising campaigns and supporting with on-line advertising suppliers, e.g., external job boards, LinkedIn, when required
- Work in collaboration with RFLG HR team to provide efficient and effective resourcing services across all business areas that enables great candidate experience at all times.
- Assist with identifying issues affecting recruitment and implementing resourcing activities to continuously improve recruitment process and candidate experience at RFLPS.
- Provide proactive, professional, and timely people and resourcing guidance and advice to line managers which will support the delivery of RFLPS People Plans and the best-in-class people experience at RFLPS.
- Develop people management capabilities of all line managers, ensuring that line managers are equipped with the required knowledge and skills for effective management of their team.
- Support with the management of complex employee relations issues when required.
- Provide day-to-day talent management guidance to line managers, e.g., coaching, personal development, talent review and succession planning, performance appraisal etc.
- Work closely with management team and employees to ensure “people first” organisational culture.
- Provide guidance and input on business unit change programme, including restructure, and workforce planning when required.
- Work in collaboration with functional team lead to identify training and development needs and support with career development conversations when required.
- Lead on people related projects as directed by the Head of People and contribute to the continuous development of RFLPS people strategy and plan.
- Source, screen and shortlist candidates to pre-defined resourcing criteria when required.
- Lead, manage and participate in internal and external job fairs and other resourcing related activities.
- Support, advise and coach managers in relation to recruitment and selection process to ensure legal compliance and best in class candidate experience.
- Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees in line with the Organisation’s policies and procedures.
- Support the Head of People with annual performance appraisals and all compliance related training to ensure completion across all business areas.
- Support with the coordination of annual remuneration process when required.
- Develop excellent working relationships and stakeholder engagement at all levels to enable the effective diagnosis of people issues and the development of people solutions.
- Support Head of People to monitor workforce targets, offer advice and support when required and monitor progress to achieve continuous improvement through the provision and use of data.

- CIPD qualified or relevant experience to demonstrate level of completence

- Solid employment law knowledge and proven experience of applying updated legislation to a variety of people situations
- Previous experience as an HR professional working in a fast paced environment and multicultural organisation
- Experience in supporting complex employee relations cases
Desirable criteria
- Experience in leading and managing multiple projects whilst working to tight deadlines
- Experience in using HR and ATS system
