Job Description
At Lloyds Banking Group, we have a clear purpose; to help Britain prosper and to become the best Financial Services provider for our customers. Through our brands, our Group has a relationship with just about every household and community in the UK. We underpin the lives of millions of individuals and businesses and play a key role in helping to build a growing UK economy.
GCOO is made up of around 22,000 colleagues, split by almost 8,000 permanent colleagues and around 14,000 non-permanent colleagues (partners and contractors). The work those colleagues do underpins how the whole Group runs, changes and innovates. We’re creating a more effective way to work and building a culture of real trust and partnership, alongside embedding our new platform operating model. GCOO is also responsible for the technology & data action plans, which are integral to how we make our business strategy a success. We’re working hard to embed our specialist job families, raise capability, plan for the future and embed the benefits we can drive from this. It’s a really exciting part of the organisation to work in!
Our People Advisors work as an integral part of the team to support the exciting journey we are on to enhance our technology and data capabilities. We’re keen to hear from candidates who are comfortable with ambiguity, bring the outside in, can manage change and are comfortable to speak up, challenge and influence where necessary. Experience with Learning & Development and / or recruitment would be great, but not necessary.
Our team is friendly, supportive and committed to making each other successful and learning together. We may be biased, but we think it’s a wonderful team to be a part of. We’re based across the UK in five core hub locations and we work in a hybrid way, spending face-to-face time with each other and the businesses we support at least 40% of our time.
We’re consciously building a diverse and inclusive team; whether you're an existing People Advisor or not, we’d love to talk to you if you think you have the skills and experience for this role or if you’d like to find out more.
