About the role
As a People Administrator, you will be an integral part of UNDO’s HR function, providing a key organisational and supportive role across the business. Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, you will support employees with all people and office related enquiries, working in collaboration with the People team and various teams across the business.
What you will do
This role focuses on delivering a first-class administrative support function for the People team and wider business, with the opportunity to learn and develop skills and experience in HR. You will be crucial for:
- Dealing with and answering People queries in a timely manner, meeting agreed service levels
- Managing tasks and communicate updates on the HRMS (HR Management System - Bamboo)
- Maintaining employee records on HRMS, which may include preparing, issuing, and filing company documentation (e.g., sick leave, maternity leave, etc.), ensuring they are accurate and up to date
- Maintaining and producing all onboarding paperwork accurately and in a timely manner e.g. job offer letters, contracts, job descriptions and right to work documentation
- Provide payroll with any updates (e.g., New Starts, Leavers, Salary Changes, etc) in a timely manner
- Support and lead UNDO's recruitment process, working closely with the hiring managers - shortlisting CVs, advertising jobs, arranging interviews and participating in the interview process.
- Ushering new joiners through the UNDO onboarding process and leavers through their offboarding
- Working with the People team to maintain key metrics and reports such as headcount, turnover, DEI, etc.
- Supporting with coordination of team offsites and company events, with the primary event happening once a year
- Coordinating office and co-working space administrative duties
- Supporting the wider team on People related projects, including cultural related initiatives
About you
We’re looking for someone with a passion for all things people and admin related, who is comfortable working remotely and within a fast-growing start-up business. The ideal candidate will have a strong administrative skill set with a keen interest in Human Resources.
Essential:
- Previous People Admin experience
- Comfortability in work in a hybrid/remote environment
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Discreet and able to work within a confidential environment
- A passion for all things people related
- A genuine interest in climate change
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A time management expert
- ‘Can do’ attitude and enthusiasm to learn
- Ability to interpret company policy and communicate to stakeholders
- Attention to detail
- Able to prioritise tasks and multi task
Desirable:
- Experience working in a startup environment
- Previous office administration
- Trained in BambooHR, Gusto and CultureAmp
