Salary: £33,600 - (£35,600 if MOT license held)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00 AM – 5:30 PM

Big Motoring World Group, is an expanding dealer group that is going from strength to strength and is looking to employ a PDI Technician at our NPC at Peterborough. Working as a PDI Technician within our busy workshop team will mean carrying out PDIs on vehicles to an approved standard.

Role and responsibilities:

• Carry out a PDI in line with the company standard
• Carry out all tasks in line with your skills and the business requirements, to the highest quality standards at all times
• Maintain high standards of house-keeping
• Carry out basic routine servicing and mechanical repairs

Person specification

• A full, valid UK driving licence is required
• Dealer experience preferable but not essential
• VOSA approved MOT tester also an advantage but not essential
• Time served or hold NVQ qualification of Level 2 or 3
• Take pride and responsibility for your own appearance as well as the appearance and organisation of the site in which you work
• Good communicative skills and ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions
• Prior experience of working to efficiency targets
• Team player
• Literate, numerate and proficient computer skills
• Demonstrates an honest and diligent approach to work
• Systematic and organised; pays attention to the finer details
• Your own set of Tools (Toolbox supplied)
