This is an exciting opportunity for a PCV driver to join our relaxed and welcoming Passenger Services team at Birmingham Airport. If you have experience of driving buses with an up-to-date PCV license or are willing to be trained as a PCV driver, then this is the opportunity for you.
If you take pride in delivering a high-quality service, then come join our team of dedicated drivers who make a difference on a daily basis to the quality of travel of the passengers at the airport. You will be moving passengers to and from the terminal while being approachable and displaying high levels of customer service.
No two days will be the same, you will have to be flexible for the business need of the airport depending on the flights for the day. You will be expected to display a considerable amount of judgement and organisation.
Please see the below main duties and responsibilities:
· Safe operations at all times
· Aerodrome Safety Management System (SMS)
· PCV Licence requirements maintained (CPC and licence renewal)
· Health & Safety
· Airside driving permit competence
· Customer service standards
· Hazard identification and risk management
· Sweeping, scrubbing and tidiness of airside & critical part aprons and roads
· FOD and deep cleaning of airfield
· Cleanliness of fleet vehicles
· Safety assurance & compliance
· Health & Safety (COSHH / Inspections / Risk Assessments etc)
· Safety Promotion
· Monitoring and inspection of the apron service roads
· Winter Operations support
