Modality Walsall Division PCN has a full-time vacancy for a Nurse Associate. The postholder will be part of the PCN Team working alongside out multi-disciplinary PCN workforce. We are seeking dedicated postholders to join our team and who can display our CARE values: Commitment, Accountability, Respect and Excellence.
This job is suitable for individuals who are problem-solvers, enjoy interacting with patients and service-users, have a passion for providing high quality customer service and ensuring patients have a positive experience.
The job is not suitable to people who are not resilient to working in a fast-paced environment, working flexibly in line with ever changing demands in Primary Care and the wider NHS or prefer a more traditional receptionist role.

Main duties of the job
The role of the Nursing Associate is to work with the multi professional team and the Registered Nurse to assess, plan, organise and deliver clinical care in line with service and patient needs, as agreed with supervising clinicians. The nursing associate has a breadth of knowledge across the lifespan and across the fields of nursing, providing holistic and person-centred care and support for people of all ages and in a variety of settings. The nursing associate works independently under the leadership of registered nurses, working within the sphere of nursing care and within all aspects of the nursing process (Health Education England 2018) Nursing associates are equipped with the knowledge, understanding, skills, attitudes, and behaviours relevant to employment as a nursing associate and will work to a nationally recognised Nursing and Midwifery Councils code of conduct (NMC) and must meet the NMC standards of proficiency.
The role is not a regular 9am-5pm job; the job requires innovation, flexibility and commitment and the postholder will be required to work resourcefully as part of the team to ensure tasks are completed

Person Specification: What are the minimum requirements all candidates need to meet?
Qualifications and Experience:
Nursing Associate Foundation Degree from an approved nursing associate programme
Registered Nurse Associate on the NMC register
Knowledge
Significant evidence of CPD
Relevant experience in the field of area applied for
Relevant experience of working within a similar role, ideally within General Practice
Completion of training and study in the clinical areas relevant to the role applied for
Skills
Understanding the scope of the nursing associate role in the context of the multidisciplinary team and the organisation and how the role will contribute to service development.
Understands and acts in line with NMC professional standards for practice contained within the Code.
Relevant knowledge related to best practice guidance for care of patients and their families. Ability to communicate with members of the public and health and care providers
