Payroll Assistant - VR/27941
Our client is looking for a Payroll Assistant to join their team on a 3-month fixed term contract. They are looking for someone who has existing experience of working in a payroll position who will be able to hit the ground running and support their existing team. Duties and Responsibilities include;
- Accurately handling and distributing assigned payroll groups within the specified timeframe.
- Performing various payroll tasks, such as importing payroll files, processing training pay, managing expense reports, handling bonuses, annual leave, and home country tax administration.
- Identifying, investigating, and resolving discrepancies in payroll records.
- Conducting research and resolving employee inquiries related to payroll.
- Processing off-cycle payments as necessary.
- Entering payroll-related data into the payroll/human resource database, including banking information and tax elections.
- Compiling and distributing monthly payroll reports to the Accounting and Treasury Departments.
- Providing telephone support to departments and rigs, addressing payroll-related questions.
- Collaborating with Human Resources to ensure accurate employee information and instructions.
- Recommending improvements to practices and procedures to enhance consistency and quality.
- Assisting and participating in projects assigned by the Payroll Manager.
