We are a local Accountancy Practice looking for a full time Payroll Administrator to join our busy team. The role involves processing numerous clients’ payrolls in our busy payroll bureau. Ideally you should be able to work on several different payroll software programs including Sage and Iris. You should also be able to work to very tight deadlines running payroll from start to finish and also having good knowledge of the NHS rules would be useful although full training will be provided for the successful candidate
Job description:
· Perform a payroll run, updating for any changes within the period (new starters / leavers etc.)
· Create BACS files/bank inputting
· Calculate statutory sick pay or maternity pay
· Provide payslips, summaries, pension reports and departmental reports to client
· Real Time Information (RTI) PAYE returns for the Revenue
· Construction Industry Returns (CIS)
· Provide ongoing support
· Assist with Auto Enrolment duties
· Process contributions
· Deal with the Pensions Regulator
· Update contribution schedules with pension providers
· Produce year end reports to allow reconciliation of payroll figures
· Carry out final FPS for online submissions to HMRC
· Produce employees P60s
