The Role
Our Payroll team is expanding to support the growing needs of our people and business. We are recruiting a Payroll Specialist to join us. You will be joining an international payroll team and will play an integral role in helping us to build a strong global payroll function in order to support our employees from all current and future markets.
To be successful in this role, you will need previous experience with International payroll, you will be a key contributor within our internal payroll team and with stakeholders. Interpersonal skills, good communication and the proven ability to work accurately with tight deadlines and a strong focus on results are a must. This position is reporting to the Payroll Lead.
Given the nature of the role, a second language of either German, Polish or Italian would be beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end payroll for your portfolio, including but not limited to processing new hires, absences, changes and terminations
- Support payroll extensions to new countries, helping with payroll implementation (outsourced) as well as social security and insurances set-up
- Collect payroll information and provide monthly payroll instructions to our payroll providers in accordance with our SOP
- Responsible for the timely payment of salaries and filing of monthly statutory withholdings such as tax, pension and social insurance contributions or internal payroll accounting files
- Perform periodic control and analysis for payroll data accuracy, absence/leaves and right to work
- Act as the primary contact of employees for day-to-day payroll questions and issues for your Portfolio
- Maintain payroll processes to ensure alignment with legislation and adapt to policy changes
- Constantly seek out ways to improve systems and processes
- Address areas for improvement through process redesigning, testing, training and communications

Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years international payroll experience
- Experience with Workday is a plus
- Technology savvy and curious professional
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize
- Ability to work under pressure under tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Good analytical skills with high level of accuracy and attention to details
- A team player who is able to collaborate across the wider business
- Ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality at all times
