Payroll Specialist Summary:
The Payroll Specialist will handle processing of the full cycle payroll for Delinea. This role will report to the Senior Payroll Manager and work closely with other members of the Accounting team, HR, third party payroll processors, and other groups across the organization. This position is remote, with strong preference for primary time-zone in Eastern Time.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead processing of full cycle U.S. (multi-state) semi-monthly payroll, preparing regularly scheduled and ad hoc payroll analysis.
  • Coordinate and review multiple international payrolls processed by third party processors.
  • Manage payroll related data to ensure accurate and timely accounting, record keeping, and day-to-day processing. This includes but is not limited to time, attendance and DTO processes.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and other departments to ensure all payroll changes have been entered accurately into the payroll system.
  • Assist with state and local payroll tax registrations and monitoring.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for employee payroll inquiries.
  • Prepare bi-monthly payroll journal entry to be entered into the accounting system.
  • Assist with annual W-2 review and distribution.
  • Identify and recommend changes to the payroll processing software, supporting systems, and payroll procedures.

What You’ll Need:

  • Three to five years of experience processing full cycle payroll.
  • Possess a sound understanding of state and local jurisdiction taxation.
  • Advanced Excel skills required.
  • Be able to adapt to change and recover quickly from adversity, working closely with a diverse and multidisciplinary team.
  • Must be organized, possess a strong attention to detail, and be able to use critical thinking skills to solve problems.
  • Be a self-starter with the ability to prioritize and manage deadlines.

  • Experience with Workday strongly preferred.
  • Experience with registering in new jurisdictions a plus.
  • A sense of humor!
