Duties:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the human resources function within the organization
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Manage employee benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and terminations
- Coordinate and conduct employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity in HR systems
- Assist with recruitment and selection processes, including job postings, resume screening, and interviewing
- Conduct training sessions on HR policies, procedures, and compliance topics
- Support management in performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development plans
- Stay up-to-date on HR trends and best practices to ensure the organization remains compliant and competitive
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources management
- Strong knowledge of benefits administration and HR compliance requirements
- Proficient in double-entry bookkeeping, general ledger accounting, and accounts payable processes
- Excellent 10-key typing skills for accurate data entry
- Familiarity with governmental accounting principles is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze data and identify discrepancies
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
