Key responsibilities:
- To manage the delivery of highly accurate and timely monthly payroll for a large organisation of ~6000 employees
- Ensure all tasks are delivered in line with agreed Service level agreements
- Management of the Payroll Team (6 team members), the team is split over to geographic locations (UK - Peterborough / India - Mumbai)
- Check and audit of payrolls to ensure legislative compliance
- Actively seek opportunities to improve efficiency and quality and drive there implementation
- Management of Payroll escalations and resolution
- Stakeholder management within outsource environment
- MS Excel
- MS Word
- SAP HR System Payroll
- Significant UK tax and NI experience
- SSP, SMP, SAP, ShPP & SPP legislation
- CIPP Diploma
- Outsourced Payroll
- Pension schemes
- Salary sacrifice schemes
- Basic accounting principles
- Service level agreements / Key Performance
- Indicators (SLA's and KPI's)
- Change management / Project experience
