Job Summary:
The Manager, Payroll will oversee the production payroll processes and data collection for time and pieces for a designated district. Manages all payroll and data collection functions, taking into account an unwavering commitment to meeting deadlines as well as demonstrating an understanding of the commitment to accuracy in all aspects that relate to payroll. Must have knowledge of payroll rules and laws, as well as Field Data Collection process. This position is essential to the organization, given the risk involved and complexity of the payroll process in the United States. This position is responsible for the accuracy and timely processing of field, admin, and partner time and piece keeping and payroll. The complexity of payroll encompasses hourly rates, piece rates, bonus structures (Field, Admin, and Partners), incentive pay programs, and pick for quality score as well as the collection of each of these items mentioned
Job Contributions and Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Management
- Responsible for the compliance of best practices & systems for U.S. payroll and US Field Data Collection
- Responsible for the project management of processing and reporting payroll and US Field Data Collection. Ensures deadlines within the project plan are met
- Responsible for the overall quality and internal Control within the U.S payroll department.
- Responsible for ensuring all payroll processes and field data collection processes are standardized and standard operating procedures are followed by payroll specialists and Data Collection Specialists
- Responsible for the accuracy and timely processing of third party checks on weekly basis.
- Partner with the ranch mangers and partners, Operations and Field Human Resources to identify process improvements to the payroll process and data collection reporting.
- Responsible for the timely collection of all field data collection to include all pieces, hours and rates.
- Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of Operations and the admin companies payroll on a weekly and/or biweekly basis
- Responsible for uploading the ACH files to the bank and responsible for the pay review of positive pay exceptions. 95 Company Global JD Next review date: 05/11/2025
- Responsible for that payroll and data collection teams to provide general support to production such as Epay and other payroll communications and support. Staff Management
- Provide development opportunities to Payroll team members as well as the Data Collection employees
- Sets goals for payroll and data collection teams and members and fosters a team environment to achieve common team goals
- Responsible for the execution of the performance metrics of the payroll and data collection department and assessing the results against the metrics for the U.S
- Responsible for the creation of employee job plans and ensures timely completion along with evaluation of the performance reviews · Works directly with direct reports on setting and monitoring annual goals · Responsible for meeting with each direct report on at least a monthly basis

- Knowledge and experience of the farming industry and issues would be a plus
