Payroll Manager / Eccles – Manchester Location / Permanent Role / Salary £40,000 – £48,000 + Bonus + Benefits + Much More / Excellent Opportunity / Blue Chip PLC Organisation
NC Associates are working with a Global PLC organisation to help recruit an experienced Payroll Manager. This company has grown considerably over the past 6 years and has a fantastic reputation within its sector for being one of the market leaders. As a Payroll Manager you will be responsible for accurately processing payroll on a monthly basis in adherence with internal controls, liaising with external bodies as required and assisting the business with the provision of it’s benefits.
Duties
- Accurate End to End monthly payroll, ensuring that the payroll bureau receives files in a timely manner for on time payment of personnel. This includes but is not limited to:
- Starters and leavers
- family friendly pay
- pay adjustments
- shift payments
- annual leave entitlements
- pension adjustments, enrolment, withdrawal and processing
- Timely completion of surveys and any required submissions
- Dealing with HMRC queries, ranging from Orders to Audits and anything in between
- Maintaining an accurate payroll database
- Ensure all internal controls and/or processes are met
Essential Experience Required
To be successful in your application for this role you MUST have the following experience
- Experience in the management of payroll functions
- CIPP or equivalent qualification
- Thorough understanding of payroll and financial management obligations (including statutory obligations) and requirements
- Must have ability to use own initiative, prioritise tasks, work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Must understand how the information provided supports the entire business
- Good time management skills
- Highly proficient in MS Excel
