About the team
Our payroll team work to support our clients to better run their payroll functions and to ensure they are compliant with payroll legislation. Our successful team of more than 70 professionals is growing across all areas and therefore requires more team members.
About the role
- As an assistant manager in our high performing national payroll team, you'll play a key part in supporting the Head of Payroll with managing delivery nationally
- Ensuring client service standards are maintained, recruiting and developing your team through training, and actively building the profile of the national payroll business both internally and externally
- Taking a leading role, along with the wider management team, in defining and improving our national processes and standards
What are we looking for?
- Significant payroll experience in a quality bureau environment
- Strong management and leadership skills – organised, able to deliver to deadlines, manage various stakeholders
- Excellent client handling skills and comfortable dealing with clients at all levels on both technical and commercial matters
- Passion for quality and delivering results and able to define solutions and influence others in a positive way
