The life of a Payroll Coordinator includes:
- Processing payroll, earnings, deductions, and taxes for multiple divisions in compliance with Labour Agreements, Statutory Regulations, and Labour Standards
- Administering and paying all benefits in compliance with Health and Welfare plan agreements.
- Complete all year-end related payroll tasks including finalizing adjustments for T4s and related reconciliations
- Coordinate with operational Human Resources and Accounting staff to ensure all processes are completed in a timely manner
- Assist in audits of payroll or payroll systems
For this role, you'll need to come equipped with:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- The ability to work both independently and with a team
- The desire to work in a fast-paced environment
Ideally, you come armed with your National Payroll Institute Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) Designation, or you are in progress with a commitment to complete it. You also have multiple years of payroll experience. For bonus points, you have experience with SAP and exposure to cross-border payroll requirements.
This position can be based out of either our Vancouver Head Office or our Canfor Administration Centre in Prince George, BC.
